Description:

Brook Architecture, Inc. provides design, master planning, consulting, and project management services to private owners, government agencies, developers, and non-profit organizations. Founded in 1995 by licensed architect RaMona Westbrook, our company is a certified Minority and Women-Owned Enterprise. Our office is located in Chicago’s Historic Motor Row District where we employ a staff of seven design professionals.

Our portfolio of private and public work includes new construction and renovation of buildings for housing, education and recreation. Our client list includes Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Housing Authority, Chicago Public Building Commission, University of Illinois, and Brinshore Development. The dreams and goals of our clients make our work possible.

Experts in affordable housing, we have designed more than 50 single- and multi-family dwellings for the Chicago’s new award-winning mixed-income communities. During our long-standing relationship with Chicago Public Schools, we completed numerous projects that improved the educational environment for the city’s children and foreshadowed our more recent work in higher education. Our recreation facility work includes the design of the amenities building for the 31st Street Harbor, Chicago’s innovative lakefront harbor and park. The project earned an AIA sustainability award and offers visitors – boaters and non-boaters alike- a unique place to relax, enjoy the lake and view the skyline.

Based in Chicago, our practice evolved in a city of diverse neighborhoods, world-class architecture, and beautiful parks. As we expand into other markets and locations we will continue to excel in our goal to create exceptional places to live, learn and play.
